More about me

I was born in Athens, Greece in 1953. My family immigrated to Canada when I was young, and I attended classes at Essex public school and Central technical school. I was admitted for studies at the Department of Electrical Engineering of the University of Toronto from which I obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in 1976 and a Master of Engineering in 1978.

I worked during all my summer vacations - for the mail room of a large Canadian Bank, on the assembly line of a manufacturing plant and as a computer programmer. Upon graduation, I joined the full time academic staff of the Department of Electrical Engineering at U of T for two years.

After my return to Greece I designed the electrical installations of a large cement plant, six NATO military bases and various schools. I have also designed several home refrigerators for a large appliance company and served as managing director of an electric heater company for almost twenty years.

I enjoy reading, traveling, most types of music, and amateur photography. I wrote a novel in six months at the age of sixteen by typing a single page after school every day. It took more than fifteen years to write the next one because I had to accommodate a profession, a marriage and two children and I wanted to do well in all.

The Adventures of AsherFrude, Bonham, was my first published novel. It was published in Greek by Ellinika Grammata in 2004. Fantasy Land was published in English by Libros Libertad in 2008. Bird of Prey, my third novel, is now available from Amazon.
